In this Senior Backend Engineer role, you will help shape the backend for the Sportsbook domain, collaborating with Staff Engineers to validate architecture and drive impactful changes. You’ll design and deliver production-ready services, focusing on scale, performance, and security within a collaborative agile environment.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to integrate products and build internal services, contributing to the backend architecture and overall platform resilience. This is a hands-on role with a clear impact on system reliability and scalable delivery, in a dynamic and international team.

Responsabilidades

- 6+ years of software development experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience designing microservices, Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker containerization, and Kafka messaging
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and caching
- Experience implementing resilience patterns (retries, circuit breakers, graceful degradation)
- Designing and maintaining monitoring dashboards (metrics, logs, traces) and alerts
- Hands-on experience developing scalable RESTful end-to-end microservices
