As a member of the HR EMEA team, the HR Generalist will be the primary contact for our Spanish office, partnering with managers at the Madrid corporate office and two other sites located in Northern and Southern Spain. The role is responsible for delivering HR services throughout the employee lifecycle while ensuring compliance with Spanish labour legislation and company policies. Additionally this role will also support the delivery of HR Operations services such as onboarding and assimilation, training and development, performance management, employee engagement and payroll for the EMEA region.
This role will also be responsible for maintaining any communication channel to Gunvor’s employees such as local HR Intranet and other. The HR Generalist act as back-up upon business need requirement of the HR Operations Specialist and/or the other EMEA HR Generalist.
Job Title HR Generalist Contract Type Full time Work in close partnership with the EMEA HR team and the Reward and HRIS team to deliver recurring end to end services and processes including partnership with the payroll provider to timely provide inputs and information as required. Develop and maintain key internal/external relationships,
which may include: business and functional leaders, hiring managers, HR professionals, industry contacts, employees. Participate and support local, regional and integral HR initiatives aiming at the continuous improvement of the HR function, processes and services.
Promote the use and implementation of tools/technologies within to gain efficiency in delivering HR services. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience ~Experience anticipating issues, problem solving and implementing solutions, including referring critical issues to the appropriate level of management, and improving efficiency, quality, cost and productivity ~ Demonstrated experience positively influencing and collaborating with business and HR leaders ~ Thorough knowledge of Spanish employment-related laws and regulations. ~ Demonstrated understanding of evolving HR landscape and capability of supporting organizational change efforts ~ Fluent Spanish ~ Excellent English skills both written and spoken (independent drafting), any other European language an asset.
