Title: Investment Analyst – Venture platform Location: Barcelona (hybrid)
Team: Venture platform (https://inveready.com/platforms/venture), which in parallel manages the Venture Capital, Industrial Growth Debt and Fund of Funds strategies, managing €350M. This team primarily invests 1M€ to 5M€ in expansion-to-growth stages (series A onwards) in high-growth tech & industrial companies across Europe and Iberia and currently manages 50 portfolio companies and 25+ investments in international Private Equity funds (through the Fund of Funds). Key Responsibilities
Investment Evaluation/Analysis
Evaluate and analyze the financial performance, market positioning, and growth potential of potential investment targets.
Develop financial models and valuation analyses to support investment decisions.
Assist in preparing investment memos, presentations, and due diligence reports for internal discussions.
Due Diligence
Conduct due diligence on potential investments by analyzing financials, business models, management teams, and market opportunities.
Coordinate with legal, financial, and operational teams to assess risks and opportunities.
Help in preparing and reviewing term sheets, investment contracts,
and other deal-related documents.
Portfolio Management
Assist in monitoring the performance of portfolio companies through regular analysis and reporting.
Support the management of portfolio companies by researching industry trends and identifying growth opportunities.
Attend board meetings, and interact with portfolio companies to understand their business strategies and performance.
Networking & Deal Sourcing:
Build relationships with entrepreneurs, accelerators, incubators, and other venture capitalists to source new deal opportunities.
Participate in industry events, startup pitch sessions, and networking activities to expand deal flow.
Market Research and Analysis
Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, technologies, and sectors with high growth potential.
Monitor and analyze industry developments, competitor activities, and market shifts.
Reporting
Provide regular updates and reports to senior investment team regarding deal flow, market insights, and portfolio performance.
Prepare presentations and investor reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience at consulting firms, Big4 (ideally within the Transactions or M&A; team), boutiques M&A; or IB, or similar growth PE/VC firms.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Finance preferred.
Able to join full-time from September 2025 in our Barcelona office.
Ideally, pursuing the CFA charter.
Native in Spanish. Full professional proficiency in English.
