Description La GRAN Pantalla is the Barcelona International Film Festival for Older People. A space dedicated to the intergenerational cinematographic encounter. At the Festival la GRAN Pantalla!, films and short films are screened, talks are held that offer new insights into the fact of being and getting older.
The festival aims to dismantle the stereotypes that exist in society about the elderly and promote active aging, through reflection and debate that inspires the seventh art. Next edition The programme includes 15 feature films and 15 short films starring older adults. It is complemented by educational short films,
an industry day, round-table discussions, a musical bingo, and many conversations, as well as meetings with directors, producers, and social organizations.
