About Clar

Clar is an international fintech company that has been building integral infrastructure for credit brokage since 2017. The company connects millions of consumers with banks and financial institutions and operates in 14 markets in Europe, Latin America and Asia. By combining technology, data and strong local brands, Clar works to create a more transparent and efficient credit market.

As we expand our team across our hubs in Tallinn and Spain, we are looking for legal professional to strengthen our legal and compliance function as we scale. Role responsibilities:

Partner & lender agreements – drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements with financial institution partners and affiliate partners, across all markets; Group corporate matters – board support for Clar and subsidiary entities, entity governance and restructuring/liquidation where needed.

Regulatory follow-up – tracking consumer credit and brokering regulation changes across active markets (e.g. EU CCD2 transposition) and license maintenance.

Data protection – working GDPR/data protection knowledge to understand and support the business day-to-day would be a big plus.

M&A; support – due diligence, transaction documents,



and post-acquisition legal integration as the group acquires companies.

Employment – contracts, terminations, option matters.

Insider information management – maintaining insider lists and disclosure processes.

Internal compliance frameworks – Build and maintain group level compliance frameworks in coordination with legal counsel across multiple jurisdictions.

Dispute coordination – working with external counsel across jurisdictions when disputes arise.

General support – covering trademark/domain issues, new verticals, and whatever else comes up in the course of business. Qualifications:

Law degree (master's preferred), several years of experience, ideally in fintech, financial services, or consumer credit

Comfortable working in a global setting across multiple jurisdictions and legal systems

Advanced English, Polish or Spanish is a plus

Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills

Able to work independently, prioritize across a wide task load, and know when to bring in outside counsel

Ours offices are located in central Tallinn and Barcelona and we spend at least three days (Tuesday-Thursday) at the office with the rest of the team.
