Position Overview We’re seeking a knowledgeable Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Specialistto support field operations, permitting activities, and project planning. In this role, you will develop, implement, and oversee MOT plans that ensure safe work zones for crews, motorists, and pedestrians. You will collaborate with engineers, permitting teams, and public agencies to ensure all MOT setups meet state, local, and industry safety regulations.

Experience

1–3 years of experience in traffic management, roadway safety, construction support, or related field.

Strong understanding of MOT principles and MUTCD traffic control standards.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, site layouts, and traffic patterns.

Excellent situational awareness and problem-solving skills in dynamic field environments.

Strong communication skills for coordinating with agencies and field crews.

Ability to create or assist with MOT drawings using basic drafting tools or software (preferred but not required).

Certifications

Advanced MOT (or Intermediate MOT) certification preferred.
