Plumbing & Drainage Designer

Job Responsibilities

1.Be responsible for the overall design of the building's domestic water supply, hot water circulation, sewage and wastewater drainage, rainwater discharge and treatment, and fire protection water supply systems.

- Water volume calculation, pipe diameter determination, pump head and tank volume design were carried out in accordance with CTE DB HS (health section) and Ordenanzas Municipales of each city.
- Design indoor fire hydrants, automatic sprinkler water supply and other fire water systems in accordance with the requirements of RIPCI and CTE DB SI, etc.
- Draw the water supply and drainage plan, system diagram and detailed diagram of the machine room, and compile the equipment material list and technical specification sheet.
- Coordinate the dimensions of pipe shafts, reserved holes, equipment load-bearing capacity and vibration reduction treatment with the departments of architecture, structure and HVAC.
- Support the construction site, solve problems such as pipeline conflicts and drainage slopes encountered during installation, and participate in the water flow test acceptance.

Job Requirements

- Education:



Bachelor's or master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Water Conservancy/Civil Engineering, or related fields of water supply and drainage.
- Experience: More than 3 years of experience in local water supply and drainage design in Europe, familiar with CTE DB HS clauses and common requirements of local water supply companies.
- Software: Proficient in using CYPE (Water Supply and Drainage Module) or similar calculation tools, and skilled in Revit MEP and AutoCAD.
- Professional Competence: Capable of independently completing the design of cold and hot water pipes, sewage ventilation, rainwater siphoning or gravity flow. Candidates with knowledge of solar hot water, rainwater reuse or grey water systems are preferred.
- Language: English must be used as the working language (for work communication, email exchanges, and material reading). Those with overseas study experience will be given priority.
- Quality: Strong planning ability, adept at coordinating and advancing among multiple professional interfaces, and maintaining a high sense of responsibility for hydraulic safety.
