You will be responsible for the definition and improvement of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and BMS systems we design and implement in our buildings. You will advise internal and external teams, improve and optimize the design, construction and operation of these systems, and serve as the link between the Construction, Preconstruction, Sustainability and Worldwide Building Design teams. /p pThis role will be based in Spain (Madrid or Barcelona) or Italy (Milan) with 50% of time spent traveling domestically or internationally. /p h3Key Job Responsibilities /h3 ul liReview, challenge and improve mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and BMS services for new‑built or refurbishment projects. /li liLead cost savings initiatives.



/li liCollect and sync feedback from developers, GCs and consultants and internal stakeholders. /li liAssist Preconstruction and Construction Managers during design reviews. /li liDeep dive into technical details and lead problem resolution on a need basis. /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree or above in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. /li liExperience using business or technical software like MS Excel, MS Project or CAD software. /li liExperience with simulation and 3D modeling software. /li liKnowledge of mechanical or electrical systems design. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience managing budgets. /li liExperience as a general contractor. /li liExperience managing cool chains, refrigeration equipment and installations; temperature‑control LED environments considered a strong plus. /li liFluency in French, German, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Turkish, Chinese (Mandarin), Afrikaans or Zulu is considered a preferred qualification. /li /ul pAmazon is an equal‑opportunity employer.
