Description An international film festival for children ages 2 to 12, where the little ones are the real stars, since 2008.

An international film festival for children between the ages of 2 and 12.

Since 2008, My First Festival has fostered a context of participation and dialogue where the little ones are the true protagonists.

Promoted and coordinated by the cultural association MODIband, it is a showcase of contemporary creation that contributes to the education of cinematographic vision and the learning of film history.

The festival aims to entertain, educate, stimulate imagination and creativity, and awaken a critical spirit. Therefore, it expands its geographical impact beyond Barcelona and organizes sessions in various locations throughout Catalonia.

Next edition The festival will offer a program of approximately 150 films, both short and feature-length, structured into nine different sections, allowing us to offer a total of 35 sessions across family and school programs. To make the experience more enriching and festival-like, the screenings will be accompanied by a set of complementary, fun, and educational tools, such as educational sheets and guides,



presentations by the Claqueta family (the festival's masters of ceremonies), film forums featuring the festival's creations, the various workshops we organize, and the industry section, which for its next two editions will feature the new screenwriting lab as its main attraction.
