Executive Venture Builder | Venture Capital | Barcelona

We're partnering with one of Southern Europe's leading Venture Builders to find an executive-level professional passionate about creating and scaling outstanding companies.

This is not a traditional Venture Capital role.

You'll sit on both sides of the table: making investment decisions while helping founders build exceptional companies.

We're looking for an executive professional who combines strong investment judgement with hands-on experience building and scaling companies.

What you'll do

You'll play a key role in identifying new venture opportunities, leading investment decisions and working side by side with founders to build and scale ambitious companies.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Identifying new market opportunities and business models.
- Evaluating and leading investment opportunities.
- Helping shape the strategy of new ventures.
- Working closely with founders on product, go-to-market and growth initiatives.
- Supporting fundraising, investment rounds and strategic partnerships.
- Helping portfolio companies scale through commercial, operational and strategic initiatives.
- Monitoring portfolio performance and key business KPIs.
- Building long-term relationships across the startup ecosystem.




- Supporting M&A; and exit opportunities across the portfolio.

We're looking for someone who has:

- A strong network across the Spanish startup ecosystem.
- A proven track record investing in early-stage companies.
- Hands-on operational experience in startups, scale-ups or venture building.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and genuine passion for company building.
- Strong strategic thinking and excellent business judgement.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with founders, investors and operators.
- Experience as a founder, startup executive, operator or Venture Builder will be highly valued.

Requirements

- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Spanish startup ecosystem.
- Fluent Spanish and English.
- Barcelona-based or willing to relocate.
