In this Technical Leader role, you will steer HV/EHV substation projects, acting as the technical authority for engineering, protection and control systems. You’ll guide cross-functional teams through concept to commissioning, ensuring safe, compliant and high-quality solutions. You’ll support grid reinforcement and renewable integration, shaping resilient infrastructure for complex client programs. This leadership role blends technical governance with mentoring, offering impact across large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams.Compensaciones / Ventajas• Serve as technical authority for primary and secondary substation engineering across projects; set strategies aligned with standards and client needs• Oversee protection and control system design for HV substations• Guide HV/EHV primary system designs (AIS/GIS), layouts, busbar schemes, and HV cable interfaces• Lead engineering deliverables reviews (layouts, calculations, clearances, insulation coordination, short-circuit studies)• Provide guidance on equipment integration (breakers, disconnectors, transformers, reactive compensation) and SCADA/communication interfaces• Ensure technical consistency,



quality and compliance across substation projects• Lead technical design reviews and engineering assurance processes• Coordinate multidisciplinary delivery and client/contractor interfaces; support technical proposals and bids• Develop engineers and specialists, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing• Support delivery of major infrastructure programs and grid-related initiativesResponsabilidades• Degree in electrical engineering• Experience in HV primary substation engineering including protection and control• Proven track record delivering large transmission or distribution substation projects through multiple phases• Demonstrated technical leadership and governance across engineering teams• Experience xqbhyrx supporting major infrastructure programs and multidisciplinary delivery• Strong client engagement and stakeholder communication skills• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent certification (preferred)• Experience with EHV substations (220kV-400kV) and IEC 61850 systems (preferred)• Experience with protection relays from ABB, GE, Siemens, or SEL (preferred)• Ability to lead construction, commissioning, or site engineering activities (preferred)Requisitos principales• medical, dental, vision• retirement savings plan• employee stock purchase plan• paid time off• flexible work options• well-being resources
