Position Overview

ADP is hiring a Payroll Specialist for our Portuguese market.

In this role, you will work with a portfolio of Portuguese payroll clients ranging from 1 to 2000 employees worldwide. You will manage the assigned client portfolio, meeting deadlines and ensuring high-quality results.

What You’ll Do

- Manage client service requests, including legal aspects of the payroll service.
- Resolve and manage incidents arising from the service.
- Conduct regular client meetings to update the payroll calendar and agreed daily processes.
- Review and prepare data for administrative payroll processing and perform functional testing on the platform.
- Process client payrolls and perform controls to ensure quality and service excellence.
- Manage the client rental period and send periodic reports related to payroll processes (e.g., IRS, social security files, payroll accounting reconciliation).

Other Acceptable Experiences

- 2-4 years of experience in a similar position.




- Knowledge of Portuguese labor law.
- Knowledge of payroll and HR software and applications.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Processed more than 1,000 payrolls.
- Knowledge of DMR / Social Security.
- Experience with new hires and terminations processing.

- Fluent Portuguese.
- Spanish (plus).
- English (plus).
