ppAmentum is seeking a certified Marine Gas Turbine Inspector (MGTI) to join our team in Rota, Spain, supporting the Forward Deployed Regional Maintenance Center (FDRMC). If you are looking to apply your expertise on a general stage while supporting the warfighter, this position offers both challenge and purpose. /p h3Essential Responsibilities /h3 ul liProvide Fleet Technical Assistance (FTA) to troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve casualties involving shipboard gas turbine engines and associated HME systems /li liPerform on-site and distant support for U.S. Navy vessels and shore-based activities, including OCONUS locations /li liConduct advanced diagnostics, repairs, and functional testing to restore propulsion and power generation systems to full operational status /li liSupport System/Equipment Assessments, including TSRA, INSURV, ICMP, BMDRAs, and other readiness evaluations /li liAssist with logistics support, including validation of Allowance Parts Lists (APLs) and identification of required repair parts /li liProvide on-the-job training (OJT) and technical guidance to ship’s force personnel on operation, maintenance, and repair procedures /li liDocument all work and findings using Navy systems (e.g., MFOM/NMD, FTS) and prepare formal reports/debriefs in accordance with the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) /li liParticipate in development and refinement of technical documentation, including Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs), procedures, and manuals /li liSupport Engineering Technical Branch (ETB) efforts, including system analysis, repair planning,



and technical evaluations /li liTravel as required to support forward-deployed naval forces across multiple operational areas /li /ul h3Minimum Requirements /h3 ul liActive Marine Gas Turbine Inspector (MGTI) Certification (NEC 4136 or U07A) in accordance with OPNAVINST 9220.3 (must be current at time of hire and maintained throughout employment) /li liDemonstrated experience in the maintenance, installation, testing, and repair of U.S. Navy shipboard gas turbine engines (e.g., propulsion and ship service gas turbine generators) /li liProven ability to perform independent troubleshooting, fault isolation, and corrective maintenance at a journeyman level /li liExperience supporting U.S. Navy HME systems in an operational or maintenance environment /li liFamiliarity with Navy maintenance and reporting systems such as MFOM/NMD, FTS, and CASREP processes /li liAbility to interpret and apply technical manuals, drawings, and engineering documentation /li liWillingness and ability to travel frequently, including extended OCONUS deployments and shipboard embarkation /li liAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance /li liStrong written and verbal communication skills /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications (not required) /h3 ul liExperience supporting DDG-51, CG-47, or LCS class ships /li liHands-on experience with LM2500 gas turbine engines and associated control systems /li liBackground in Gas Turbine Readiness Reviews (GTRRs), engine change-outs, or major overhauls /li liExperience working in a forward-deployed or OCONUS operational environment, supporting naval forces in high-tempo, mission-critical settings /li liFamiliarity with NAVSEA Standard Items and JFMM processes /li liPrior experience providing FTA or working at a Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) /li liExperience with vibration analysis, rotor balancing, and advanced diagnostics /li liPrevious role as an instructor or experience providing formal or informal technical training /li liActive or recently held security clearance /li /ul h3Compensation Details /h3 p100,000 - 120,000 /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
