Senior Scientific Writer – Barcelona, Spain

Responsibilities

- Create complex and specialized content independently
- Manage end-to-end publication/medical education content development, including documentation and approval in PromoMats/iEnvision
- Develop and maintain therapeutic area expertise
- Coach and review content created by junior scientific writers
- Collaborate closely with peers and teams to develop best practices and improve delivery
- Maintain effective relationships with end stakeholders (medical scientific community) and health‑care professionals
- Provide publication and medical education material (slide deck, abstract, poster, manuscript, etc.) within agreed timelines and quality standards
- Conduct comprehensive publication-need analysis and implement the publication plan for the region
- Work with regional vendors to deliver required deliverables per defined processes

Qualities & Qualifications





- 4+ years of experience in content creation for the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry or academia
- Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, similar discipline, or medical degree
- Excellent spoken and written English language skills

Benefits

- Salary range: €48,000 – €64,000 per year (final compensation based on experience, skills, location, and other factors)
