In this role you will lead technical investigations and continuous improvement for the QIAstat‑Dx platform, working at the intersection of microfluidics, materials science, and diagnostics. You will partner with Ru0026amp;D, Quality and Manufacturing to identify root causes and drive impactful product improvements in a regulated ISO 13485 environment. The position is onsite in Barcelona and offers opportunities to influence product robustness and development within integrated diagnostic systems.
You will shape solutions that enhance reliability while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver measurable impact.

- Design and execute troubleshooting strategies to identify root causes across materials, manufacturing, quality, and field performance
- Optimize microfluidic workflows and system performance to enhance product robustness
- Drive investigations related to customer complaints and implement corrective actions
- Contribute to product development and innovation initiatives within integrated diagnostic systems
- Partner with Ru0026D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to align on solutions and deliver improvements
- Ensure activities comply with regulatory and quality standards, including ISO 13485
Responsabilidades
- Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in diagnostics, medical devices, or other regulated industries
- Hands-on experience in xugodme experimental design, data analysis, and root cause investigation
- Experience with microfluidics, cartridge-based systems, or integrated diagnostic platforms (desirable)
- Experience in regulated environments and familiarity with quality systems (ISO 13485)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear and effective communication skills in English
