This role is responsible for overseeing the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the company’s general ledger accounting and financial consolidation processes across all business units and legal entities. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in financial reporting, compliance, and supporting strategic decision‑making through accurate consolidated financial statements. /p h3What You’ll Do /h3 h3General Ledger /h3 ul liDaily, monthly, and year‑end closing activities for the general ledger. /li liEnsure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions in compliance with internal policies and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS/Spanish GAAP). /li liMaintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, resolve discrepancies, and ensure account accuracy. /li liCoordinate with various departments (e.g., procurement, manufacturing, sales, logistics…) to ensure completeness and correctness of journal entries.
/li /ul h3Financial Consolidation /h3 ul liPrepare the monthly and annual consolidation of multiple subsidiaries. /li liPrepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards. /li liPrepare consolidated annual report in accordance with applicable accounting standards. /li liMaintain and improve the consolidation system/tools (e.g., SAP BPC, HFM, OneStream). /li /ul h3Compliance and Controls /h3 ul liEnsure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies. /li liSupport implementation and continuous improvement of financial controls and processes. /li /ul h3Team Leadership and Collaboration /h3 ul liCollaborate with other departments to continuously improve financial processes and information flows. /li liSupport CFO and Financial Controller on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives as required. /li /ul h3What you will bring to Stark /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. /li liMinimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting and financial consolidation roles, preferably within the manufacturing industry. /li liStrong understanding of consolidation principles and multi‑entity accounting. /li liProficiency with ERP systems. Experience in Microsoft Dynamics is preferable. /li liAdvanced level of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word). /li liSolid knowledge of IFRS and ES GAAP. /li liExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. /li liStrong communication and leadership abilities with experience managing a team. /li liExperience in a multinational company or in a shared‑service center environment. /li liUnderstanding of cost accounting and manufacturing supply chain financials is a plus.
