Steel Structure Designer

Job Responsibilities

- Be responsible for project coordination, extract the required design materials, conduct on-site surveys and feasibility studies of the schemes;
- Be responsible for the design of steel-concrete structures such as factory buildings, office buildings and dormitories in the industrial zone of the European project, and engage in the scheme design, construction drawing design, construction drawing design and post-construction technical services of the European project.
- Effectively coordinate and communicate with the collaborating departments, make reasonable arrangements for the design work of subcontracting units, and review the design results.
- Complete the design work of the project in accordance with the European standard and American standard steel structure design specifications, and complete the drawing review work.
- Be stationed at the project site in the country where the project is located, serving as the technical hub between the domestic headquarters and overseas construction sites. Be responsible for the full-cycle on-site technical implementation, handling of difficult problems, and multi-party technical collaboration to ensure that the project progresses smoothly in accordance with design standards, schedules, and local regulations.
- Understand the policies, latest standards, regulations and norms of the lithium battery industry, and promote the optimization design of new project plans.





Job Requirements

Full-time bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or structural engineering, with over 5 years of local steel structure design experience in Europe, and the ability to independently design project structures.

- Be familiar with common norms for steel structure design, be familiar with European and American standards for steel structure design, understand the relevant national norms and industry standards of the structural specialty, and be familiar with the main normative requirements of other specialties in the industrial building field.
- Be meticulous and rigorous in work, have a strong sense of responsibility, and be able to work efficiently under pressure and strict time limits.
- Proficiency in domestic PKPM and 3D3S is required. Familiarity with international software such as SAP2000, idea statistic, Staad Pro, and Etabs is preferred.
- Have overseas project experience in Europe. English must be used as the working language (for work communication, email exchanges, and material reading). Those with study abroad experience will be given priority.
- Be capable of independently designing one's own professional field to meet European standards, and prepare the review materials and final acceptance matters.
- Those with a senior professional title or the qualification of a registered structural engineer will be given priority.
