Our analysts provide comprehensive, timely, and transparent coverage of major institutions and smaller companies, drawing on experience in regulatory oversight, counterparty analysis, auditing, investment banking, and buy‑side investing. /p h3How You’ll Make An Impact /h3 ul liMonitor a portfolio of issuer ratings, including the preparation of rating committee documentation. /li liAnalyze the financial institutions sector and individual bank data across diverse operating environments, developing an understanding of how economic, regulatory, and market developments influence credit profiles. /li liUpdate and enhance internal analytical tools used for peer analysis and charts. /li liDraft and publish comprehensive rating reports on individual issuers. /li liParticipate in credit rating committees for banks in your region and other countries, gaining exposure to a broad range of business models and credit considerations.



/li liInteract with issuer contacts and gain valuable exposure to senior management at banks through rating meetings and ongoing dialogue. /li liContribute to sector‑specific research and commentary, including the preparation of peer data, country snapshots, and sector background information. /li liSupport the wider team in covering other banks in the portfolio, including reviewing annual and quarterly accounts, responding to ad‑hoc data requests, and helping to prepare committee packs. /li /ul h3You May Be a Good Fit If You Have /h3 ul liProven analytical experience (between 2 and 5 years), preferably in credit or audit‑related fields, gained at a commercial/investment bank, accountancy firm, buy‑side firm, regulatory authority, rating agency, or similar organization. /li liBackground in financial institutions or corporate credit analysis; experience in developed markets bank analysis is desirable. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English and either Italian or Spanish. /li liGood educational background to at least a first university degree level, preferably with professional qualifications such as CFA. /li liAbility to work independently and as a good team player. /li liAbility to cope with time pressure and meet deadlines. /li liStrong command of financial statement analysis. /li liProficiency in Excel. /li /ul pThis position will involve occasional travel. /p h3Why Choose Fitch /h3 ul liHybrid Work Environment: 3 days a week in office required. /li liA Culture of Learning Mobility: Dedicated training, leadership development, and mentorship programs.
