Telephone Operator – The Ritz‑Carlton Abama Resort, Tenerife, Spain. Full‑time, non‑management position.

Responsibilities

- - Answer all internal and external telephone calls promptly, professionally and courteously.

- Direct calls and guest requests accurately to the appropriate departments.

- Provide guests with detailed information about resort facilities, dining venues, spa services, activities, transportation and local attractions.

- Manage guest requests efficiently and follow up to ensure complete satisfaction.

- Record and deliver messages accurately while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

- Support emergency communication procedures in accordance with established hotel protocols.

- Work closely with Front Office, Guest Relations, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Food & Beverage and other departments to ensure seamless communication across the resort.

- Maintain up‑to‑date operational information and internal directories.

- Ensure every telephone interaction reflects The Ritz‑Carlton’s commitment to personalized luxury service and attention to detail.

- Support Front Office operations whenever required to enhance the overall guest experience.

Qualifications

- - Warm, confident, and professional communication style with a genuine passion for guest service.

- Previous experience as a Telephone Operator, Front Office Agent, Guest Services Agent, Call Center Representative or a similar customer‑facing role, preferably within luxury hospitality.

- Excellent multitasking,



organizational and problem‑solving skills.

- Ability to remain calm and composed while managing multiple priorities.

- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with different departments.

- Fluency in English and Spanish is essential; German or additional languages are a strong advantage.

- Good computer skills; experience with hotel property management systems is an asset.

- Valid work permit for Spain.
