ppAWS has successfully launched the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC). To spearhead this initiative, we are seeking experienced systems engineers with a strong background in automation and operations. /p pAs part of the AWS Managed Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in building, operating and evolving the teams that deliver high‑availability AWS services for EU customers. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liOversee ongoing operations and expansion of the ESC, working closely with general AWS teams. /li liCollaborate with technology leaders and contribute to operational improvements around availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency. /li liParticipate in 24x7 on‑call rotations to resolve incidents and ensure fault‑tolerant systems. /li liDevelop and test automation scripts to enhance workflows and system reliability. /li liProvide training and knowledge sharing about the European Sovereign Cloud to service teams. /li /ul h3Eligibility Requirements /h3 ul liFluency in written and spoken English. /li liMust be a national of an EU member state and reside in the EU. /li liExperience in Linux OS and network troubleshooting or networking administration. /li liExperience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl. /li liStrong background in systems engineering, site reliability engineering, and operating large‑scale systems. /li liAbility to lead the creation, revision, and improvement of standard operational procedures (SOPs) and drive operational best practices. /li /ul h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience in Linux OS and network troubleshooting,
