As a Senior Process Engineer, you will design and support PEM electrolysis-based hydrogen generation systems, ensuring safety and compliance with industry codes. You will work within the Electrolyzer engineering team, collaborating across disciplines to deliver fit-for-purpose processes and control strategies. You drive design choices, documentation, and technical rigor while mentoring colleagues and engaging external partners. This role offers the chance to influence safety-critical design decisions in a fast-paced, integral engineering environment. You will contribute to scalable, standards-based solutions that meet customer specifications and project schedules.

• Ensure designs comply with process safety codes and standards
• Develop process design basis, control and safeguarding philosophies, PFD, Pu0026ID, Cu0026E diagrams, and safeguarding narratives
• Participate in design and safety reviews (Pu0026ID, 3D model, HAZOP, LOPA)




• Own design and fulfill department requirements with proactive issue identification and corrective actions
• Escalate technical risks and workload considerations to management when needed
• Collaborate with process engineers across Plug offices globally
• Mentor team members and provide technical guidance within area of expertise
• Ensure technical design quality, cost efficiency, and conformance to customer specifications
• Deliver clear and accurate engineering documentation
• Manage technical communication xqbhyrx with external engineering parties and clients
• Review supplier quotations from a technical perspective

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 5–10 years of process engineering experience
• Specialization in process control or process safety
• Knowledge of international codes and standards (CE, IEC, API)
• Experience with control and safeguarding logic
• Familiarity with functional safety standards
