Functional Workday HCM Consultant

We are currently looking for a Freelance Workday Functional Consultant to join a full-time, 6-month contract with a globally recognized leader in the entertainment industry . This is an exciting opportunity to support a large-scale Workday environment, working closely with international stakeholders and contributing to key HR technology initiatives in a fast-paced and innovative organization.

You will be part of a collaborative team responsible for supporting and enhancing Workday functionalities, ensuring an excellent user experience and driving continuous improvements across the HR ecosystem. This role requires full-time commitment throughout the duration of the project and offers the opportunity to work on a high-visibility international Workday landscape.

Key responsibilities

- Lead and participate in end-to-end implementations of Workday HCM modules.
- Conduct workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with HR stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into Workday solutions.
- Design, configure, test, and deploy Workday HCM functionalities following best practices and business requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and manage issue resolution.
- Provide expertise in Workday security, data migration, and integrations.
- Deliver end-user training and create functional documentation and process guides.
- Support post-go-live activities, including troubleshooting, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation and adoption of Workday solutions.

What you'll need to succeed

- 1+ years of experience working in Workday environment.
- Ability to implement and configure changes in any kind of model.
- Strong solution consulting skills, with the ability to understand stakeholder requirements, translate business needs into Workday solutions, and drive successful outcomes.
- HCM knowledge
- Experience supporting live Workday environments (implemented).
- Ticketing and BAU support experience (tasks: general questions, access, business process, EIB loads, basic configuration)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent English Level.
- Strong knowledge of Workday Recruiting as a consultant (preferred but not required).
- Experience with Workday Learning (preferred but not required).
