Due to continued growth, our Portland Branch is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team in a dual Workshop / Field Service capacity.

The Role You Will Be Responsible For Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting onsite and in workshop
Repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, hydraulics and equipment systems
Preventative servicing and fleet reliability
Coordinating parts procurement and supplier communication
Using modern diagnostics and testing equipment
Maintaining accurate service records
Providing technical support to customers and team members
Reading hydraulic and electrical schematics
Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards This role offers strong autonomy, responsibility and the opportunity to be a key contributor in a high-performing regional branch. What We’re Looking For Trade qualified Diesel Technician / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Fitter
Minimum 2+ years practical experience (more highly regarded)
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
Ability to work independently and manage your workload
Professional communication skills and customer focus
Victorian driver’s licence
HR & EWP licence (desirable)
Forklift licence (desirable)
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
