To join one of our clients, a leading international manufacturer in the FMCG sector, we are looking for a Health & Safety Site Manager to join one of their sites located near Bilbao region.

Responsibilities:

As Site H&S; Manager (leading / execution role)

- Ensure site safety compliance and the implementation of corporate Health & Safety standards, aligned with local regulations

- Lead and continuously improve the local Safety Management System

- Perform detailed gap analyses across H&S; processes and organization (compliance, equipment, procedures, behaviors), then prioritize and drive structured action plans

- Lead risk assessments, compliance audits, and incident investigations (root cause analysis), and develop teams to execute them

- Lead governmental, corporate and certification safety audits

- Support the Plant Manager in building the site H&S; roadmap; propose the safety budget and CAPEX

- Design and deploy local H&S; communication, procedures and training plans (including fire safety)

- Coach and train colleagues at all levels to develop safety leadership and a strong risk-perception culture





- Contribute to corporate standard definitions and integral H&S; projects; develop digital tools to facilitate H&S; deployment

- Monitor regulatory developments and report group and legal KPIs

Your profile

- Proven experience in Health & Safety management within an automated and/or process manufacturing environment

- Rigorous in situation assessment and in building and executing action plans strongly execution- and results-focused

- Skilled in H&S; methodologies and root cause analysis, with the ability to analyze a safety culture and identify the key levers to create momentum

- A natural leader of change with solid management skills and experience working transversally

- Passionate about developing and coaching people, you like leading by training

- Strong affinity with the shop floor (Gemba) to drive change where it happens

- Technical background is a plus

- Good communication skills in English and Spanish
