Analyst Trade Execution (Logistics & Port Grains)

We are looking for a Trade Execution Analyst (Logistics & Port Grains) to join our team in Madrid and play a critical role in ensuring the efficient execution of grain logistics operations, inventory accuracy, and seamless coordination across the supply chain.
About the Role
As a Trade Execution Analyst, you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of supply chain and logistics activities related to grain operations. You will oversee inventory management and reconciliation processes, coordinate warehouse and port logistics flows, and provide operational support to the Trade Execution team.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute and monitor daily supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures.
- Perform daily inventory reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly inventory reports with a high level of accuracy.
- Monitor warehouse and port stock movements, verifying quantities, quality standards, and documentation.
- Coordinate logistics flows proactively with the Trade, Operations, Warehouse, and Transportation teams to ensure smooth product movement.
- Track operational activities and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimization.
- Support the Trade Execution department with logistics‑related analysis, reporting, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to minimize delays and ensure product availability.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
What You'll Bring
Required Skills & Knowledge

- Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control, and reconciliation processes.
- Solid knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and/or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Exposure to agricultural commodities, grain logistics, port operations, or trade execution activities is highly desirable.
Qualifications & Experience
-
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of professional experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, inventory management, or trade execution roles.
- Fluent English (C1 level or equivalent), with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Be part of a general leader in agribusiness and food supply chains.
- Work in a collaborative and international environment.
