Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professinal to join our team. The Audit/Ctrls Manager (M/F) will be based in Madrid.

This position will be based in Madrid or Casablanca and will be reporting into the IBA controller.

Scope: all Africa countries under IBA structure: Egypt, Morocco, South Africa and neighboring countries.

On a typical day you will:

-

- Ensure control and policy compliance. Strengthening the control environment lead processes improvements to enhance controls and standardization.

- Responsible for actuals accuracy. Review of Balance Sheet. Compliance with USGAAP accounting rules. Provide guidance on procedures and accounting standards. Preparation and review of closing One timers/Policy deviations. Ensure quality account reconciliations are completed in timely and following quality standards.

- Management of SOX requirements and issue resolution.

- Own quarterly representation letter process. Litigation assessment.





- Support Statutory and Group audits. Review local S2G.

- Enhance approval matrix and support workflows, approving operations according to matrix. Ensure proper SGD. Comply with system access review plan.

- Support Finance and Business leaders and stand as a reference in the organization.

- Ensure proper and timely answer to Operating Unit, EMEA and Global requirements.

- Liaise with outsourced accounting provider ensuring strong controls around relation and quality in the deliverables received.

- Management of intercompany disputes for resolution.

- Coach and lead the team in benefit of their professional development.

What You Will Need to be Successfu

-

- Economics or Business master’s degree required, MBA or Master of Accounting preferred.

- Fluent English knowledge. Also, preferrable French or Arabic.

- Strong knowledge of US GAAP.

- Strong background in auditing, financial control, accounting, analysis and reporting.

- 5+ years of total accounting/finance professional experience.

- Pace, autonomy, strong organization and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively.
