We are seeking a simulation software engineer to contribute to the Eurofighter’s flight‑simulator domain in Getafe, Spain, in close collaboration with our German colleagues.

Responsibilities
-
- Derive system requirements from operational requirements for the latest simulator functionalities.
- Update existing simulation models that represent aircraft equipment.
- Implement software models in C++ and Ada.
- Create and perform unit, system, and acceptance tests of the software using C++ / Python and Jenkins.
- Perform integration testing.
- Manage software configuration.
- Develop tools for our test and simulation systems (e.g., Code / ICD Generators).
- Coordinate development with international partners and customers.
- Write documentation according to existing company processes.
Qualifications
-
- Experience in the Eurofighter program is beneficial.
- General avionics knowledge is a plus.
- Experience in software design and testing.
- Experience in procedural and object‑oriented programming.
- Experience in unit, system, and software integration testing.
- Experience writing documentation in English following software life‑cycle processes.
- Strong knowledge of the following tools and technologies:

- DOORS
- C++, Ada 95, QML, OpenGL
- Scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
- Linux (advanced level mandatory)
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Jenkins) – beneficial
- Git – 3rd generation software version control
- Communication protocols and frameworks (TCP/IP, RS422, 1553, etc.)
- Experience with the simulation domain (avionics, rehosting, visual systems) is beneficial.
- Proactivity, analytical structured thinking, and capability to work independently.
- Very good written and spoken English.
- Availability to travel occasionally (mainly within the EU) – approximately one week every two months.
