Senior Logistics Specialist

Your Responsibilities

- Overall coordination btw. internal peers (e.g. sales, operations, logistics) and external peers (supplier and clients), for delivery planning and execution, to ensure on time deliveries for project or distribution business.
- Process purchase agreements with high level of delivery punctuality and customer satisfaction, support contract review in terms of logistics perspectives for purchase or supplier contracts.
- By business need, execute and cover both inbound and outbound tasks
- Interact with clients and logistics suppliers in a clear and professional manner for the delivery plan, on time and cost efficient.
- Maintain internal compliance in terms of process and documentation
- (Pro-) active participation in optimizing internal TMS/WMS system usage,



strategic logistics network design for cost optimization and shaping related S&OP.;
- Active communication with logistics supplier for delivery service and performance. Support in supplier evaluation and vendor management.
- Support in European VAT and custom regulations and related internal execution.

Your Profile

- Education by technical or analytical foundation in logistics, supply chain or engineering
- At least 3 years experience in logistics and supply chain function in manufacturing industry
- Relevant knowledge in international trade with incoterms, customs and VAT regulations is a plus
- Proficient in English. A further language is a plus.
- Proficient in IT skills: MS office, e.g. Excel, and ideally experienced in relevant systems (SAP, TMS, WMS)
- High self-initiative as well as a structured and goal-oriented way of working – you keep an overview even under time pressure
- High customer focus with the aim of always finding the best possible solution for the customer, without losing sight of the company's economic, operational, and strategic interests
- Good team spirit and strong communication and coordination skills
