Senior Finance Analyst, FP&A; B2B (Madrid)

Salary range: €43,000.00 to €60,500.00, with potential to increase up to €69,000.00 based on performance.

Responsibilities

- Own the month‑end reporting process for division performance and overheads;
deliver reports to senior management and the wider finance team.
- Identify key business drivers and deliver insightful analysis to highlight long‑term risks, opportunities, and profitability improvements.
- Input data into the monthly forecast process submitted to the Corporate Finance team, capturing known variances and current divisional performance.
- Business‑partner with Commercial Finance, Sales, Revenue Optimisation, and Expedia Product & Technology to analyse P&L; and overhead drivers.
- Own and coordinate the forecast profit and loss submission into Hyperion for the division, working closely with finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
- Challenge forecast assumptions—including sales, revenue margin percentage, and commission costs—to ensure robust forecasts and identify key sensitivities.
- Evaluate and streamline existing processes where possible, securing stakeholder buy‑in and creating efficiency across the team.
- Support departmental needs for ad‑hoc reporting and presentations when required.




- Prepare forecast summary presentations for senior management, highlighting key movements.
- Utilise AI and reporting tools to increase the efficiency and accuracy of data and commentary.

Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent professional experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent professional experience.
- Excellent experience in providing analysis and insights to key stakeholders in a fast‑paced global environment;
preferably in an FP&A; role.
- Ability to think big and think small.
- Experience with analysis, forecasting, and management reporting.
- Strong Excel skills with experience handling large and complex datasets.
- Professional, "get it done" attitude and work ethic.
- Excellent time‑management skills, ensuring deliverables are understood, met, and communicated early if risks arise.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Desired: Experience using Hyperion Planning/Essbase and Looker (or similar BI tools).
