We’re hiring—a mission to build seamless payment experiences. Join our Devices team and help improve the quality of firmware, Android APKs, and devices.

What You’ll Do

In this hands‑on role you’ll work across firmware, Android, apps, and the OS layer, supporting QA and engineering to validate releases and resolve incidents.

- Manually validate firmware and APK releases, design and run test cases for device functionality, connectivity, and edge cases.

- Support test‑automation initiatives and validate results.

- Serve as the first technical point of contact for support escalations, ensuring tickets are well documented and resolved.

- Analyze device and application logs to diagnose field issues and, when necessary, step up to firmware/APK engineers for deeper investigation.

- Build and improve internal tooling that enables support to diagnose and resolve issues faster.

- Provide hands‑on technical presence for advanced installations, pilots, and new client integrations.

- Maintain clear documentation of known issues, workarounds, and troubleshooting guides for support and QA.

Who We’re Looking For

-

- Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related hardware‑adjacent field (equivalent experience welcomed).

- Strong interest across the full stack of a connected device—hardware, firmware, Android, and the apps running on top.

- Comfortable with hardware fundamentals, serial/UART debugging, multimeter usage, and Android/embedded OS log analysis.

- Methodical, detail‑oriented,



and capable of writing clear test cases and documenting findings.

- Basic scripting ability (Python, bash, or similar) to build small tools and automate repetitive checks.

- Strong communication skills, acting as a bridge among support, QA, and engineering.

- Fluent in English and Spanish.

- Strong execution and problem‑solving skills, proactive, accountable, open to feedback, and eager to propose creative ideas.

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

- Prior QA experience or familiarity with test‑automation practices.

- Exposure to embedded/Android devices, connectivity (cellular/WiFi/BLE), or POS/unattended retail hardware‑software.

- Experience supporting a technical support/helpdesk team or working with ticketing systems.

- Basic networking or connectivity troubleshooting experience.
