Barcelona | French Market | Leadership Opportunity
Permanent People are working exclusively with an established international recruitment business looking to appoint a Permanent Recruitment Practice Leader to drive and grow their French permanent division from their Barcelona office.
This is a hands-on leadership position. You'll be leading a team of experienced recruiters while continuing to develop your own client portfolio, win new business and deliver senior permanent appointments across specialist markets.
If you enjoy coaching people but don't want to lose the commercial side of recruitment, this is a genuine opportunity to do both.
The role
Lead, coach and develop a team of 3-4 recruiters.
Continue building your own permanent recruitment desk.
Win and grow strategic client relationships across the French market.
Deliver high-value permanent recruitment projects.
Promote solution-led recruitment, including retained and project-based hiring.
Help shape the future growth of the permanent division alongside senior leadership.
We're looking for someone who has:
A strong background in permanent recruitment.




Previous experience managing and developing recruitment consultants.
A consistent track record of business development and client growth.
Experience selling recruitment solutions rather than simply contingent vacancies.
The ability to lead from the front and inspire through personal performance.
Fluent French and English (essential).
