The Senior Financial Controller will be responsible for a number of international companies within the portfolio, with the objective of coordinating and supporting the administrative and financial functions in close collaboration with the local finance leads.

Your responsibilities

- Follow up on and coordinate the monthly and annual financial closing processes of the various entities.

- Take responsibility for the monthly internal management reporting of the assigned business units, including analysis, interpretation, and documentation of monthly results.

- Further define and implement KPI reporting (Power BI), including Price / Volume / Mix analyses.

- Prepare periodic business reviews.

- Prepare materials for Board of Directors and shareholders’ meetings.

- Coordinate the annual budgeting process and interim forecasts.

- Support the monthly consolidation process and follow up on differences between local GAAP and IFRS reporting.

- Support the Group’s buy & build strategy and the integration of newly acquired companies into the Group.

- Conceptually develop new analyses and dashboards.

- Support and mentor more junior colleagues.

- Participate in ad hoc projects and analyses, such as investment analyses, ERP support, and strategic initiatives.

Your profile

- Master’s degree in a financial or economic discipline (e.G. Economics, Business Administration, Commercial Sciences).

- 8–12 years of experience in a similar, broad-based role within an international environment.

- Broad technical expertise across multiple areas of financial management, such as controlling, management reporting, and financial process optimization.

- Fluent in English and Spanish

- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and Power BI (or other BI tools).

- System-minded, with a strong interest in ERP environments.

- Strong analytical skills.

- Communicative team player.

- Hands-on, accountable, and result-driven.

- A motivated self-starter.

- Adaptable and willing to travel occasionally.

- Pragmatic and comfortable working in a decentralized organisation with an entrepreneurial culture.
