As part of our organizational development and to support our growth around major industrial building projects as a General Contractor, we are looking for a
Structural Design Project Manager
to join our
design team
in
Madrid .
Reporting to the
Engineering Department Manager, you will be ensuring and maintaining compliance with the technical, regulatory and standard requirements for the
Structural discipline. Working autonomously from requirements definition through to project handover, you will manage the
civil & structural package design studies
and provide technical support throughout the construction phases. More specifically, your main responsibilities will include:
Design optimized technical solutions (structural sizing/design, preparation of technical specifications and documentation, etc.);
Supervise the production of drawings and models (plans, diagrams, etc.) in collaboration with the Design & BIM teams;
Prepare tenderdocumentation, review and critically assess contractors' proposals, and provide technical recommendations;
Take ownershipof the technical decisions related to your discipline;
Lead technicalmeetings and support the monitoring of construction works to ensure proper execution on site;
Participate incommissioning activities and carry out pre-handover inspections.
You hold an Engineering degree with a specialization in
Civil Engineering
or an equivalent field and have at least five years of experience in the design of building or industrial facility projects.
You are recognized for your ability to bring operational teams together, possess strong analytical and communication skills, and demonstrate adaptability in a dynamic project environment.
As you may occasionally be involved during the construction phase, you are willing to travel on an occasional basis.
Fluency in both Spanish and English is required, while French would be an asset.
