Contemporary Star Energy is looking for you…Contemporary Star Energy is a joint venture created by Stellantis and CATL to advance affordable and sustainable electric mobility in Europe. Bringing together general automotive leadership and next-generation battery innovation, we lead the evolution of cleaner and smarter mobility. Our large-scale, carbon-neutral battery manufacturing project contributes to the European electrification ecosystem and supports the regional supply chain for battery production.
Strategically located next to Stellantis´ plant in Zaragoza, Spain, the Gigafactory will produce next-generation lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with a capacity of up to 50 GWh.
Would you like to be part of our team?We are looking for a Controlling Specialist who will support the company's financial control, risk management, and business performance monitoring activities, ensuring robust internal controls, accurate financial planning, and effective risk mitigation to support sustainable business growth and operational excellence.
Your main responsibilities will be:Internal Control & Risk Management
Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of internal control frameworks, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
Coordinate internal and external audits, follow up on corrective action plans, and monitor financial, operational, and compliance risks to support effective mitigation strategies.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Support the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial plans, providing financial insights to support business decision-making.




Monitor business performance against budget and forecast, analyzing key variances, profitability, margins, and overall financial results.
Prepare management reports, financial dashboards, and performance analyses to support strategic and operational objectives.
Insurance Management
Coordinate corporate insurance programs, policy renewals, claims management, and relationships with insurance brokers and providers, ensuring adequate coverage and risk protection.
Support product costing, cost variance analysis, profitability assessments, and cost-saving initiatives to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.
Your profile and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
High level of English (minimum C1). Chinese language will be a plus.
At least 2/3 years of experience in Controlling, Financial Planning & Analysis, Internal Control, Audit, or similar financial roles within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Solid knowledge of internal control frameworks, risk management principles, and corporate governance practices.
Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis methodologies.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, experience with SAP is preferred.
Availability to work onsite at our facilities in Figueruelas (Zaragoza).
