Turó Park Clinics is a rapidly growing, international medical group located in the center of Barcelona, Spain. Founded in 2017 as a small dental team, it has expanded to more than 60 doctors across 30 specialties, working in three clinics supported by an in-house laboratory. The clinics focus on serving international and local patients, including expats and tourists, through a multilingual team offering care in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, German, and other languages. Open seven days a week, including weekends and holidays, Turó Park Clinics provides same-day appointments and versátil scheduling. Patients can access dentistry, medical treatments, and aesthetic procedures in person or online, all through the same provider network.
Role Description
The Endocrinologist will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of endocrine disorders, with a strong focus on diabetes care and hormone-related conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting consultations, reviewing medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress. The role also involves close collaboration with other specialists, including primary care and cardiology, to ensure integrated care for complex cases. The Endocrinologist will participate in patient education,
contribute to clinical protocols, and maintain accurate, timely medical documentation. This is a contract, on-site role based at Turó Park Clinics in Barcelona.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical expertise in Endocrinology, including management of hormone disorders and metabolic conditions.
- Experience in Diabetes care, including prevention, treatment, and long-term follow-up.
- Background in Pediatric Endocrinology is highly valued for candidates treating children and adolescents.
- Solid foundation in general Medicine, with the ability to coordinate care across multiple specialties.
- Familiarity with Cardiology-related aspects of endocrine disease, such as cardiovascular risk in metabolic syndromes.
- Medical degree and completed residency in Internal Medicine or Pediatrics, plus accredited specialization in Endocrinology.
- Valid license to practice medicine in Spain or eligibility to obtain it within a reasonable timeframe.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural, multilingual environment; proficiency in English and Spanish
- Strong communication skills, patient-centered approach, and commitment to evidence-based practice.
- Experience in private clinic or hospital settings and comfort with electronic medical records.
