We are looking for a Data Architect to join a long-term international project for a leading German company in the industrial sector. You will play a key role in shaping the organization's data architecture strategy, designing scalable and secure data solutions, and enabling data-driven decision-making across global business teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and govern the end-to-end data architecture within an Azure-based lakehouse environment , establishing standards, best practices, and integration patterns for data engineering teams.
- Design and maintain enterprise‑grade relational and dimensional data models, ensuring data quality, metadata management, and data lineage.
- Architect scalable ETL/ELT processes integrating complex business applications and operational data sources, including ERP environments such as SAP.
- Establish and promote data governance frameworks covering security, GDPR compliance, auditing, and secure data sharing.




- Translate complex business requirements into scalable and governed data solutions.
- Define DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code standards to support automated, consistent, and maintainable deployments across environments.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders across international teams to deliver reliable and reusable data products.
- Drive standardization, optimization, and automation initiatives across the data platform, ensuring measurable business value.

Required Experience

- Proven experience designing and governing modern data architectures.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Azure-based data platforms.
- Solid background in data modelling, data integration, and data governance.
- Experience working with enterprise systems and complex business data environments.
