Senior Associate, Real Estate Development (Marq Logistics)

Location: Madrid, Spain. Full‑time on site position.
Job Description

Commercial responsibility for sourcing, identifying, underwriting, delivering and leasing logistics projects in Spain, managing budgets and delivering targeted financial returns in line with the Marq Logistics business plan, whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.
Key Accountabilities

Land and Development Responsibilities

– Define and execute land acquisition and control strategy for the Spain unit; appraise, underwrite, acquire and manage land control positions in core markets; lead viability studies and manage pursuit budgets and advisors; assess feasibility, master plans, costs, programme and constraints; manage development risk; conduct financial underwriting (IRR, MoC, margin and stabilised yield) to meet risk‑adjusted return targets; produce development business cases; monitor macro and market dynamics.
Customer Relationship Responsibilities





– Manage key‑account relationships with customers and external stakeholders; maintain professionalism with public entities; underwrite and compile proposals and lead commercial and legal negotiations; monitor and report deal financial performance; maintain tenant relationships and oversee lease agreements and renewals.
Reporting Responsibilities

– Deliver reporting for the Managing Director and Core Support on business plan, cash flows, acquisition and development pipeline; support preparation of screening and Investment Committee memorandums; collaborate with technical teams and investment/portfolio management.
Other Transactional Responsibilities

– Execute leasing and commercialisation with Asset Management; plan and deliver marketing to support leasing and the Marq Logistics brand; generate cross‑selling opportunities across the platform.
