We are seeking an experienced Principal Engineer – HV Primary Substations to join our growing Transmission & Distribution (T&D;) team. You will play a key role in delivering a range of cable system projects across multiple voltage levels, serving clients including Transmission System Operators, Distribution Network Operators, and private developers worldwide.

Here’s what you’ll do:
In this crucial role, you will be a key member of our Transmission & Distribution team dedicated to leading and engaging with our clients to deliver technically challenging OHL design projects.

Your primary focus in the role of Principal Engineer for HV Primary Substations is to provide project technical support and be responsible for design of transmission projects.



This team will work on various projects encompassing overhead transmission lines up to 400kV.

Preparation of designs and deliverables related to primary electrical systems for transmission and distribution projects. The tasks may encompass, but are not limited to, the following, depending on project requirements and the design phase:

Design of primary substation systems, including AIS/GIS configurations, transformer installations, circuit breaker selection, busbar arrangements, switchgear layouts, and disconnectors for voltages up to 400kV.

Preparation of single-line diagrams (SLDs), general arrangement (GA) layouts, equipment sizing, and equipment layout plans for substations and transmission systems.

Short‑circuit force calculations, busbar sizing, fault current analysis, and equipment protection design, ensuring system stability and protection under fault conditions.

Design of earthing systems, including grounding layouts, ground grid syste
