? What are we looking for?
We are looking for a technical profile with a background in SQL development, Data Analysis, or Software Development to join a integral banking client as a 3rd Line Support Engineer.
The role is focused on supporting business-critical applications, with many of them built around Excel/VBA-based solutions. Strong experience within Asset Management is essential.

This 100% remote position is open to candidates located in Spain, requiring fluent English for effective collaboration with international teams.

? Main tasks and accountabilities will be:




The 3rd Line Support Engineer is responsible for providing advanced technical support and change delivery for business-critical applications and data platforms.
This role focuses on resolving complex incidents, implementing approved changes, and ensuring the accuracy and continuity of business data operations.
The engineer will work closely with delivery teams, stakeholders, and other support tiers to maintain service quality and system stability.
Act as the escalation point for complex technical incidents beyond 1st and 2nd line support.
Perform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting using SQL.
Support and maintain Excel-based business applications.

Strong experience working with financial data and Asset Management environments.
Advanced SQL skills and strong data analysis capabilities.
Knowledge of: Portfolios, Securities, Stocks (Equities), Bonds, Derivatives...
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
