Join a fully remote game development team creating engaging third-person gameplay experiences through memorable and dynamic character design. In this role, you will shape the combat mechanics, abilities, and gameplay identity of playable characters, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams from concept through release. Your creativity and technical expertise will directly influence player engagement by delivering balanced, exciting, and polished gameplay systems. Accountabilities
- Design innovative playable characters with unique gameplay mechanics,



combat styles, weapons, and abilities.
- Develop character gameplay features from initial concept through prototyping, implementation, balancing, and final release.
- Collaborate closely with gameplay programmers, animators, designers, and other cross-functional teams to deliver engaging combat experiences.
- Create and refine combat mechanics by leveraging gameplay metrics, player feedback, and data-driven insights.
- Balance character strengths, weaknesses, and counterplay to ensure enjoyable and competitive gameplay.
- Prototype gameplay systems and iterate on designs to continuously improve player experience and overall game quality.

Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Character or Gameplay Designer, with experience shipping multiple game titles.
