The Team

A&M;’s PEPI practice is looking to hire a Director / Senior Associate (m/f/d) in Operations & Supply Chain with a strong focus on the Food & Beverage industry.

This role is focused on leading and delivering large, complex engagements for private equity-backed food and beverage companies, working closely with PE deal teams and operating partners. You will play a key role in diagnosing operational performance, designing value-creation initiatives,



and implementing sustainable improvement across manufacturing, production, and supply chain environments within fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and regulated food production settings.

How You Will Contribute

Evaluate the operability, efficiency, and compliance of food production and manufacturing facilities, including hygiene, safety, and regulatory readiness
Analyse current and historical operational data to assess productivity, capacity, yield, and performance across production lines, including equipment effectiveness, maintenance strategies, and supply chain flows
Gain hands-on shop floor insights by engaging with plant leadership, operations teams, and customers within food manufacturing environments, supported by deep data-driven analysis
Identify and quantify value creation and cost improvement opportunities, including lean transformations, waste reduction (food loss/waste), footprint optimisation, outsourcing, and site consolidation
