Associate Director Director MPO Engineer

The Associate Director Engineer - Material & Process Optimization should have a passion for fragrance creation optimization, focused on reducing Raw material, Packaging Material, formulation and operational complexity. In this role, you will drive integration between perfumery operations, creations, and the perfumery growth office, to ensure a seamless scale-up of new perfumery product creations & industrialization, enabling symmetric health in manufacturing with efficient processes and use of materials, streamlining formulation portfolios, and enhancing supply chain responsiveness. You will work at the intersection of creation innovation & operations, ensuring that fragrance development aligns with business growth, operations efficiency and sustainability goals. The role is a core function on synchronizing the safety, quality, formulation, Total delivery cost management and upstream creation and re-/Formulation.
Your key responsibilities
• Establish efficient and reliable scaling up process for perfumery liquid technologies. Including industrializing new products, new formulation and new processes.
• Ensure formulas introduced for manufacturing are cost-effective, manufacturable, and supply-resilient.
• Deliver sustainable value by leading the process & material optimization of perfumery liquid technologies through optimal use of GCP’s, GMPs etc. Ket industrialization capabilities towards the Total Delivery Cost reduction and avoidance.
• Develop and optimize fragrance solutions in manufacturing formulations that meet creative, regulatory, safety, quality and technical requirements. Serve manufacturing teams by optimizing formulas and material choices for scalability and production & Supply Chain efficiency.
• Collaborate with perfumery operations & perfumery growth office to identify and eliminate complexity drivers.
• Develop the ‘’Right First Time - formula Design & Qualification” capability
