Overview of the role
Project Manager – responsible for managing your own projects or workstreams on major infrastructure projects, including development, design stages, delivery, and handover.
Key responsibilities and duties

- Manage the development, design, delivery, and handover of built environment and infrastructure projects.
- Apply and follow project governance protocols.
- Develop and maintain a project management plan, ensuring projects are scoped to agreed objectives.
- Identify and deliver project deliverables, ensuring cost, time, and quality parameters are achieved.
- Coordinate with the H&S;&W; and CDM representatives to ensure health and safety compliance.
- Establish stakeholder and communication management processes, including mapping and reporting with statutory and technical assurance bodies.
- Collaborate with commercial, procurement, and project control functions to deliver projects within agreed parameters.
- Assess resource and competence levels of supply chain teams, taking required actions to ensure performance.
- Administer NEC contracts for professionals and contractors, ensuring contractually successful outcomes.

- Essential:

- Willingness to travel to Dublin weekly or bi‑weekly, with travel and accommodation covered.
- Substantial project management experience across disciplines, procurement routes, and market sectors.
- High commercial acumen and knowledge of planning and project controls.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a larger team.
- Strong IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, colleagues, and supply chain.
- Adaptable approach to work and openness to travel to client sites and other offices.
- Desirable:

- Experience in the Spanish market.
- Experience leading large project teams to successful outcomes.
- Membership or progression toward APM (or PMI) qualification.
