Experteer Overview In this senior role, you lead a 6–10 person engineering team delivering scalable B2B technology for Expedia Group’s partners. You align team goals with business outcomes and collaborate with product management to shape the roadmap. You’ll remove bottlenecks, promote strong design and operational practices, and guide talent development. - Lead and grow a 6–10 engineer team, promoting collaboration and continuous development
- Define team goals aligned with broader business outcomes across multiple collaborative teams
- Partner with product management to influence and deliver the product roadmap, balancing new features, maintenance, and team wellbeing
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks in cross-team workflows and establish clear success metrics
- Advocate for software design best practices, operational excellence, resiliency, unit testing, SLAs, and scalability
- Research and recommend frameworks, cloud services, and architectural patterns per Expedia Group standards
- Bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues




- Evaluate talent, identify skill gaps, and implement development plans for goal achievement
- Develop capacity plans for teams of 10+ and manage staffing ratios between full-time and contingent workers
- Mentor ICs and managers, sharing domain expertise across cross-functional teamsResponsabilidades
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of software engineering experience; or Master's degree and 6+ years; or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of people management experience, including performance management and recruiting engineering talent
- Proficiency across multiple programming languages or technologies with ability to justify choices to diverse audiences
- Experience managing distributed or geographically dispersed teams
- Proven ability to deliver solutions to complex business problems spanning multiple teams
