The engineering team at Exoscale works on all aspects from designing developing products, to their operation and support. /p pWith an expanding customer base and new products to further advance Exoscale's product portfolio, Site Reliability Engineers build and maintain a wide range of technologies. As users of Exoscale itself, Site Reliability Engineers also take active part in improving products. /p pThis position focuses on designing and implementing Exoscale's confidential computing product at the system level, working closely with product teams. It involves deep ownership of hypervisor internals, operating system stacks. The candidate will also take part in the evolution and maintenance of Exoscale's base systems. /p pbSome of the challenges you will be working on: /b /p ul liDesign, development, and implementation of Confidential Computing at the hypervisor level.
/li liDesign and maintain Exoscale’s operating systems and hypervisor fleets, from kernels to the network stacks, including security filtering layers. /li liContribute to the routing security automation systems implementations. /li liHelp shape our operating system images strategy, from bare metal to Virtual Machines. /li liMaintain and improve the system container runtimes. /li liImprove our provisioning and deployment systems. /li liHelp improve bare metal and hypervisor systems performance. /li liContribute to the overall design and the architecture of the Exoscale platform systems. /li liContribute to internal tooling development. /li liImprove our systems and processes to be scalable and highly available, helping achieve outstanding SLAs. /li liParticipate in code changes reviews. /li liTake part in the on-call rotation after a training period. /li liHave a solid experience with Linux, its kernel and Systemd. /li liAre familiar with Confidential Computing and related concepts, including hardware level ones (AMD SEV, Intel TDX, or equivalent). /li liAre familiar with Secure Boot, chain of trust, attestation, key management. /li liAre familiar with KVM virtualization. /li liHave a good knowledge of eBPF. /li liHave a good knowledge of container runtimes. /li liHave a good experience with Golang, Python /li liHave experience with configuration management solutions and large scale infrastructure. /li liLove to automate anything that could be and inclined to write documentation. /li liAre curious, autonomous and embrace learning new things every day. /li liAre team players and are comfortable working in a distributed team. /li liHave good English communication skills, written and spoken. /li /ul pbWhat we offer: /b /p ul liFlexible working hours and working from home. /li liAutonomous working conditions with a lot of freedom to create and challenge. /li liCollaborative culture, working alongside talented engineers in a supportive environment. /li liModern working atmosphere and centrally located office with great public transport connection. /li liTeam events as well as training and further education. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
