Position Summary

UST is seeking a Java Backend Developer to contribute to a wealth management project with a general customer. You will work closely with the client’s IT and business stakeholders to deliver impactful programs in an international environment.

Work Model

Hybrid in Madrid: 3 days at the office, 2 days working from home. Relocation is also an option.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

-

- Proven delivery experience in software engineering using industry standards such as test‑oriented development (TDD, BDD).

- Understanding of DevOps concepts such as CI/CD and automated testing.

- Design, deployment, and management of applications using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and related technologies.

- Experience managing containerized applications in a cloud‑native environment (Azure, etc).

- Willingness to learn new ways of working while supporting the client’s transformation.

- Take pride in your work and strive to lead by example.





- Master or Bachelor in Computer Science or a related area, or proven relevant work experience.

- Very good English level.

- Familiarity with the stack: Java, Spring Boot, service‑oriented architecture, RESTful services, SQL (Oracle), Kafka, Avro, OpenAPI, UML, GitLab, Jenkins.
