This is a unique opportunity to build an efficient procurement system from scratch in an international environment and play a critical role in the company’s growth and scaling in Spain. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Negotiation Contracting /h3 ul liConduct negotiations on pricing, volumes, and supply terms for raw materials and finished products /li liAlign product specifications (varieties, acidity levels, organoleptic characteristics, etc.) /li liConclude contracts and framework agreements with suppliers /li /ul h3Shipment Logistics Coordination /h3 ul liCoordinate shipments (interaction with suppliers and logistics partners) /li liMonitor timelines, volumes,
and accuracy of dispatched goods /li liPrepare supporting documentation in collaboration with the back office /li /ul h3On-site Quality Control /h3 ul liOrganize and/or conduct quality inspections at supplier facilities /li liCollect samples and coordinate with laboratories /li liEnsure compliance of products with agreed standards and specifications /li /ul h3Internal Collaboration /h3 ul liProvide market insights, risks, and opportunities /li liSupport procurement and production planning /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 h3Education /h3 ul liHigher education in agriculture, food industry, logistics, or economics /li /ul h3Work Experience /h3 ul liMinimum b5 years of experience /b in procurement of agricultural products/raw materials in Spain /li liProven hands-on experience in: /li liNegotiating with local producers /li liWorking with farmers or processing companies /li liExperience with bolives and/or olive oil /b is a strong advantage /li /ul h3Professional Skills Knowledge /h3 ul liUnderstanding of agricultural supply chains, including international supply chains /li liKnowledge of legal principles of international trade /li liBasic understanding of quality standards for olive oil and olives /li liStrong negotiation skills and ability to secure commercial terms /li liAbility to work independently "in the field" /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liSpanish - fluent (C1-C2) /li liEnglish - fluent (C1-C2) /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
