pWe're partnering with a leading enterprise organisation investing heavily in AI and looking for an experienced strongSenior Backend Engineer /strong to build the backend services that power production AI applications. /ppThis is a hands-on engineering role where you'll design, build and operate scalable Python services, working closely with AI Engineers, Data Scientists and Platform teams to deliver secure, reliable and high-performing systems. /ppThe Role /ppYou'll take ownership of backend services from design through to production, helping shape architecture and engineering standards while solving real-world challenges around scalability, reliability and AI integration. /ppKey Responsibilities /pulliDesign and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Python. /liliIntegrate AI, machine learning and Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities into production applications. /liliBuild secure, resilient and observable cloud-native services. /liliDesign data models, APIs and system integrations. /liliImprove testing, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring and operational excellence. /liliCollaborate with cross-functional engineering teams, architects and product stakeholders. /liliMentor engineers and contribute to technical decision-making and best practice.
