The role can be based in Albarraque (Portugal) or Krakow (Poland). Only candidates already in these locations will be considered. /p /brpIn this role you will own and govern the enterprise meaning layer, including how business meaning is structured, managed, and exposed for consistent consumption across systems. The enterprise meaning layer comprises the shared business concepts, entities, dimensions, reference data, taxonomies, and ontologies that underpin data analytics, reporting, AI grounding, and interoperability. /p /brpThis role ensures that when PMI says "Consumer", "Market", "Product", or "Brand", the meaning is consistent across everyone and every system. /p /brh3YOUR DAY TO DAY /h3 /brul /brliCoordinate, structure, and steward PMI’s core business concepts (e.g. Customer, Consumer, Product, Market, Brand) and dimensions (e.g. hierarchies, attributes, codes, and classifications) across domains, ensuring alignment between business stakeholders while maintaining a consistent enterprise representation.



/li /brliDesign and govern enterprise semantic models for business meaning and structure. /br ul /br liEnsure concepts are stable, unambiguous, and reusable across functions, domains, and markets. /li /br liCover conceptual models, taxonomies, controlled vocabularies, and SKOS‑aligned ontologies. /li /br liEnsure semantic models are operationalised and consistently consumed across systems and platforms. /li /br /ul /br /li /brliOwn and evolve enterprise semantic capabilities and services that operationalise business meaning. /br ul /br liDefine and manage how enterprise concepts are structured, stored, and exposed as reusable assets for downstream consumption. /li /br liEstablish and govern semantic services (e.g. APIs, semantic layers, knowledge models) enabling consistent use of enterprise meaning across BI, AI, and applications. /li /br liEnsure enterprise concepts are not only defined, but accessible, reusable, and consumable at scale across systems. /li /br liPartner with data, platform, and engineering teams to embed enterprise semantics into data products and consumption layers. /li /br liDefine standards and patterns for how semantic logic is implemented across tools and platforms. /li /br /ul /br /li /brliOwn the enterprise business glossary. /br ul /br liEnsure it is the authoritative source of business meaning and that concepts are clearly defined, contextualised, and stewarded. /li /br /ul /br /li /brliControl the lifecycle of enterprise concepts to balance stability with evolution. /li /brliActively prevent semantic fragmentation across the organisation.

University degree in a related field or equivalent working experience. /li /brliExperience with business glossaries/data catalogues (Atlan, Collibra, Alation, etc.) /li /brliExperience with semantic standards (SKOS, RDF concepts - even if theoretical) /li /brliDeep comfort working with business stakeholders on ambiguity and meaning /li /brliGovernance mindset: decision rights, stewardship, escalation /li /br /ul /brpWould be beneficial to have: Knowledge graph or ontology exposure. Experience supporting AI explainability/grounding, Background in domains with heavy reference data (Product, Customer, Geo).
