The adecuado candidate will be an expert in C++ programming and possess a deep understanding of software engineering principles within highly regulated environments. You will be part of the full software development lifecycle -from requirements engineering and architectural design to implementation, testing, and system integration within complex simulation environments. /p h3Accountabilities /h3 ul liDeveloping the simulation SW to be included in the Embedded Training Solution of the SAETA 2 aircraft trainer. /li liSupporting the development and operation of the SAETA 2 Simulators /li liSupporting the design, development and deployment of the devices that compose the Ground Based Training System where all the future Spanish Combat Pilots will train. This activity includes Virtual Reality Training Devices. /li liCollaborate on feasibility studies investigating new features to optimize pilot trainings. /li /ul h3Your tasks consist of: /h3 ul liRequirements Engineering: Elicit, analyze, and document high-level and low-level software requirements, ensuring traceability and compliance with rigorous industry standards /li liSoftware Design: Lead the architectural and detailed design of complex software components, ensuring scalability, reliability,



and performance optimized for real-time or near-real-time systems. /li liHigh-Performance Development: Implement robust, efficient, and maintainable code using modern C++ standards. /li liVerification Validation (VV): Define comprehensive test strategies, including unit, integration, and system-level testing. Develop automated test suites to ensure software integrity. /li liSystem Integration: Perform hands-on integration of software components into large-scale simulators or avionics hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments. /li liProcess Compliance: Adhere to and enforce strict software engineering processes and lifecycle models, ensuring all documentation and artifacts meet mission-critical quality standards. /li liMentorship Review: Conduct rigorous peer code reviews and design reviews to maintain high coding standards and technical excellence within the team. /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 ul liAt least 10 years of experience /li liExpert C++ Programming: Mastery of C++ with a focus on memory management, concurrency, and performance optimization. /li liSoftware Engineering Mastery: Deep knowledge of design patterns and software architecture. /li liRegulated Process Experience:
